BIL Continental Ltd. (Formerly known as Bholanath International Ltd.) has produced beautiful handmade carpets for clients around the world for several decades. Our esteemed founder, Mr. Damodar Das Baranwal (1917-1976), established our company with a dedication to product quality and innovation. Under his direction, our company was solidly rooted in a tradition of social accountability.
The third generation of our family now maintains the same values and integrity. Our integrated group and associate companies have in-house facilities of yarn spinning, design & manufacturing activities.
Our Status
We are a public limited listed company in India.
Our Achievements
We created the first colour system in Indian carpet industry,
renowned as "Bholanath Colour Concept" in 1978. We have received several awards
from the Government of India and other reputed organizations from time to time
for highest export growth, best carpet, best stall at trade fairs, best design
etc. We launched all India competition of carpet designs based on Indian theme;
which was later adopted on a grand scale by UNDP.

Our Philosophy
1. We believe in long term loyalty with our clients, suppliers, workers and shareholders
2. Our products must perform for the intended purpose and meet the quality criteria.
3. We are conscience about our environment. Only husk-based boilers for cleaner air discharge and Effluent Treatment Plant to clean the water are used in our dyeing process.
4. We believe in conservation of energy and precious natural resources.
5. We endeavour to meet the criteria of workers’ welfare and social accountability. We gladly contribute to social welfare and well-being programs to improve the living standards of our workforce.
Our Products
Nearly every art form of handmade floor-covering is covered in our product range; which includes handknotted in Persian and Tibetan weave, handtufted by manual or electric gun, handloom, handwoven, flatweave and shaggy rugs. We use wool, silk, polyester and viscose yarns. We take pride in creating new techniques in yarn, texture and weave.
Our Design Studio
We give full support to our clients by adopting their suggestions in design forms. According to their wishes, it is communicated via internet for their final approval before we produce it for sampling, presentation in fair or bulk production.
Our Delivery
We understand the importance of on time delivery. We honour what we commit, barring forced measures and situations beyond our control. This helps our clients to reduce cost, plan their inventory levels efficiently and make sales promotion activities on schedule. Our reporting system helps them to access information and take timely decisions accordingly
